The Sakalava Lodge kitesurfing , wingfoil and windsurfing center is located directly in Sakalava Bay, in northern Madagascar. This spot is recognized as one of the best kitesurfing lagoons in the country, with shallow water, a white sand beach stretching over 2 km, and a coral reef protecting the sailing area.

Since 1999, Sakalava Lodge has been a pioneer of kitesurfing and wingfoil holidays in Madagascar . The lodge benefits from an ideal location facing the spot, with direct access, shaded grounds and a sheltered area from the wind for comfort on land.

The bay is suitable for all levels: beginners enjoy a regular side-on wind and a safe lagoon, while experienced riders benefit from excellent conditions for freestyle, freeride and waves on the reef.

The wind, the Varatraz (southeast trade wind), is reliable from April to November, with approximately 95% of sailing days during the season.
